Kumbala | MLA A.K.M. Ashraf stated that the reinstatement of the unjust toll on the National Highway at Arikkady would not be permitted under any circumstances. The toll booth had previously been shut down following a massive agitation. The National Highways Authority has been asked to remove the materials from the site, but the process is currently delayed due to a delay in awarding the contract for the removal work. “Reports suggesting an attempt to reinstate the toll are incorrect,” the Manjeshwar MLA said.
