Another book rooted in a ‘Sufi sensibility’ has been released in Kozhikode.
The event marked the launch of the English novel *Angel : The Fire and The Veil*, authored by Dr. Fathima Banu Aman and published by Lipi Publications. The book was unveiled by the renowned writer K.P. Ramanunni, and received by the celebrated author and translator Jamal Kochangadi. Senior journalist Navas Punoor presided over the function. Kamal Varadoor, K. Pradeep Kumar, K.M. Abbas, and Pragin Prakash delivered speeches, while M.A. Suhail welcomed the gathering. The author, Dr. Fathima Banu Aman, delivered a response.
Lipi Akbar honored both Jamal Kochangadi—who is marking 65 years in the field of writing—and the author, Dr. Fathima Banu Aman, with mementos. The book will also be featured at the Sharjah International Book Fair.
