AKMG organizes health awareness campaign
AjmanIThe Association of Medical and Dental Graduates (AKMG) in collaboration with the Indian Consulate in Dubai and Metro Medical Centre organized a health and anti-alcohol campaign in Ajman.
The campaign held at the ASHA Labor Camp was inaugurated by Indian Consul in Dubai, Pabitra Kumar Majumdar.
The campaign was held to create awareness about the increasing lifestyle diseases among the workers and their preventive measures. The newly appointed Consul General Dr. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy promised all possible support for AKMG’s health awareness campaigns.
Dr. Haneesh Babu and Dr. Nasrin led the awareness classes.
AKMG President Dr. Sugu Malayil Koshy, Doctors Firoz Gafoor, Jamaluddin Abubacker, Renee Paulose, Vineet Zakaria, Mini John, Sajitha Ashraf, Jayapradeep, Manoj Mathew, A. A. Saleem, M. F. Davis and others participated.
The summer health awareness camp held at the Dubai Ginco Labor Camp was led by Doctors Archana Nair, Nita Salam, Pankajam Indrajith, Naeem Moideen and others. The organisers said that the campaign was to express solidarity with the UAE government’s ‘Year of the Community’ and ‘Year of the Family’ projects and to promote a healthy lifestyle among workers.
