Five-Year Multiple Entry Tourist Visa; Eligibility and Procedures Clarified Dubai
Dubai: The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDFA) Dubai has clarified the eligibility and application procedures for the five-year multiple entry tourist visa, which will provide more convenience to those who travel to Dubai frequently. The GDFA has released an awareness video explaining the required documents and application procedures on its social media platform.
A visa valid for five years can be used to enter the UAE multiple times. You can stay in the country for a maximum of 90 consecutive days on each entry. You can also extend your stay for the same period subject to conditions. However, the total stay in a year should not exceed 180 days.
Eligibility and Required Documents
Applicants for a five-year multiple entry tourist visa must have a valid passport with a validity of at least six months. Currently, the visa holder must have a minimum of 4,000 US dollars in the last six months. A bank statement proving that there is a bank balance of more or an equivalent amount must also be submitted. Personal photograph, valid health insurance, onward/return ticket from UAE, proof of residence.
The application must be submitted through the digital service system of GDRFE Dubai. After logging in to the smart service system using the UAE Pass or username, one should select the five-year entry tourist visa. Then, fill in the application details, upload the required documents and pay the fee. If the application is approved, the e-visa will be received via email. The service is available 24 hours a day through digital channels as per the current information service. Meanwhile, this visa can also be applied for through the Amar Center. The expected service completion time is 48 hours.
