Each Onam celebration motivates us to survive, gives us confidence and makes us realize that we are not alone in crises. Let us put aside our sorrows and difficulties and celebrate Onam with our family and friends.The difficulties caused by natural disasters have not changed yet. But we gain strength and confidence to survive through each celebration. The government has made all the arrangements for a price-free Onam celebration. This year’s Thiruvonam will give us happiness and strength for the journey ahead.In this era when those who sow hatred and animosity in the society and profit from it are thriving, we should be able to stand together without caste and religious differences. That is the message of Onam celebration.Not only in Kerala, but also all over the world, Malayalis are celebrating Onam. Warm wishes to all of them.
