Health check-ups for 8,350 workers under ‘Summer Without Risks’ scheme
Dubai: The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai has conducted health checks for 8,350 workers under the ‘Summer Without Risks’ scheme to ensure the health and safety of workers working in the summer heat and direct sunlight. The aim of the scheme is to create awareness among workers about the health risks caused by high temperatures during the summer and to encourage precautionary measures. The scheme, which started on June 16, lasted for several weeks. Various activities were organized in Muhaisna, Al Manqool, Al Jaddaf, Al Qusais and Al Muraqabat, where there is a high presence of workers. The scheme was implemented in Muhaisna in two phases.
