Mario Vargas Llosa is a Latin American writer who, much like Gabriel García Márquez, is renowned worldwide. Most of his works are also available in Arabic. At the Sharjah International Book Fair, the Peruvian Embassy is showcasing his books in both Spanish and Arabic. Carla Naomi, the Deputy Head of Mission, stated that they take pride in presenting the nation’s rich literary heritage through the works of Llosa.
