Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Founder of Burjeel Holdings, was honored with the ‘Charitable Act of the Year’ award for his outstanding contributions to the humanitarian sector, while M.A. Yusuff Ali, Chairman of Lulu Group, secured the ‘Lovin Business Visionary’ award for his remarkable achievements in the business world. The fact that the winners were selected entirely through public voting adds further prestige to these accolades.This marks the second consecutive time that Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil has received a popular award from the Lovin community; he had previously won in the same category at the ‘Lovin Dubai Awards’ last year. A pivotal factor in his winning this year’s award was the emergency aid package worth one million dirhams that he provided to the victims and families affected by a traffic accident on Dubai’s Emirates Road. This assistance brought immense relief to the injured and the families of the deceased. In addition to financial aid for the families of the victims, he also ensured full support for the education of their children. Dr. Shamsheer’s humanitarian initiative stands as a beacon of hope for the entire community.
