Dubai:Etihad Rail inaugurated Dubai’s new passenger station on Monday.U A E president Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan travelled from Abudhabi to Dubai. the national rail network that will connect Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Fujairah starting 30 September 2026, with integrated ticketing and transport links.The inauguration ceremony was led by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on 28 September 2026.UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan travelled on an Etihad Rail train from Abu Dhabi to Dubai ahead of the service launch.Etihad Rail passenger services between Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Fujairah will start on 30 September 2026.Ticket prices start at Dh39 for Comfort Class and Dh109 for Premium Class, purchasable via app, website, or station machines.The Dubai station connects to Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station via a dedicated pedestrian bridge and integrates with the Nol system for single QR‑code travel.
